I very much disagreed with the judges choices. Though it comes with a bias because Bre was one of my favourites. If we look at solos, I understand why Bre would be eliminated, but at the same time, I thought Natalli would be eliminated because her solo was completely the same as Heidi's Proud Mary solo in Season 2 of the American version. Right down to the costume. The thing with Bre was that she didn't bring anything new in her solo. All the movements we've all seen from her, so she lost points for originality and that's why I think she got cut. As for guys, it was hard. I thought all of the guys brought i for their solos. I thought Kevin had the best solo out of the guys. But counting the mess up that was his hip hop routine, I understand why he was cut as well. I find that the eliminations count on who's on the judging panel. Usually each judge is biased towards their dance style. In the US version, Mary would fight for her ballroom dancers and that's what I think Jean Marc did with this elimination and that's why Natalli and Francis stayed instead. I also heard that there was very little deliberation time for the judges. They just talked for about 5 minutes apparently and made the cuts. hmmm... I am kind of happy with the new couple, they would KILL anything latin. Like absolutely murder it. But anything else would be bad.
i thought the judges mad the correct decision on choosing bre to leave. her dance and solo were not nearly strong enought to make it into the top ten, let alone the top two.
I agree with cake that it was right for the judges to leave but personally i liked her solo. it wasn't very orginal but i dunno....aura maybe? I didn't really pay attention to the guys. This show is starting to bore me at the moment (do i lose points for honesty?) hopefully next time i can talk about something that grabs my attention
I think the dancers were not as strong in this episode. I really disliked Romina and Darios preformance i thought that since they seemed to be the best creative pair that they would think of new means to create their Jazz Pop routine of course thats my opinion so corredt me if I am wrong. Poor Joey and Tamina they are both great dancers but they got stuck with really bad chorography (sorry if I spelt that wrong) I agree with Tamina they gave it thier best and I thought it was okay. Nico and Arassay gave a rather odd prefomance it seeemed more contempary then theater dance, but they did great they really pulled it off and I think one of them should at least get a shot at the top 2. Both teams Lisa and Vincent as well as Jesse and Caroline gave great Hip hop routines, Lisa and Vincent have great timing and they were almost completely in sync, Jesse and Caroline.....not so much but they better chorography and it kept you watching. I hate Izzak with all my heart he is terrible Canada what are you thinking get rid of this guy before he drags down his TALENTED partner Katelynn. Lara and miles are good not great but they really impressed me with their waltz I thought it was well rehearsed and the steps were fluid. Nathaie and Franics were great for dancers that just lost their partners they are doing very well. Alle and Danny pulled off the greatest Mambo in So You Think You Can Dance history they were haveing fun they were completly in sync and I can probably see Alle winning.
@vash The reason it was called theater instead of contemporary was because the routine didn't rely on technique and more so relied on expression and emotion. If you look at it, there isn't much technical about it, but it was all passion and emotion. This is just a question out there. Why all the Kaitlyn love? I really don't understand. I don't find anything interesting about her at all. I find that she has about zero personality and blends into the background in her performances. Izaak will always have a place in my heart. I absolutely adore him. Though he hasn't fared as well as others these couple of weeks, I'm really hoping he pulls it up and really wows everyone. I liked Miles and Lara's waltz at first, but then it slipped in ranking in my mind. On a technical level, it was atrocious. On an emotional level it was lovely. Technically speaking, their frame was crap, their footwork was crap. Emotionally, they expressed the mood the song and the waltz brought. So there are two sides to it, really. It depends on how you're looking at it. I would also like it if they could keep their faces at least a foot apart in the next routine. I would also like to correct vash on "the best mambo in so you think you can dance history". Best mambo in sytycd history would be Benji and Heidi's mambo from season 2 of the US version. It was absolutely incredible. Though it's kind of incestuous due to the fact that they're cousins. BUT other than that, it's amazing.
for todays show some of the dancers had to dance their solos to stay in. i think diero should stay in. i like his dance because he had geat timing and good co-oderation. - Oct.19/08
romina and dario leave the competition. to be honest, i didnt think their performance was that good, so it wasn't too much of a surprise to me that they left. but i don't know what's wrong with canada. vincent and lisa had one of the best performances of the night, but they still got voted into the bottom three. i thought that was one of the worst choices canada made in this competition.
on to the performances. nico and arrasay continue to dominate the competition with a theatre style routine by melissa williams. they nailed the routine, and nico is right. arrasay is so fine. i agree with blake. they are the king and queen of the show. miles and lara also did an amazing routine, the viennese waltz. one of the best dances of the season, along with the best couple. they're even starting to get a little romantic, WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! love is in the air.
overall, it was a great episode and i can't wait for the top 16 episode on wednesday.

I am seeing vast improvments in all the dancers and that it always very good. They have all grown so much as dncers that it would almost seem difficult to recongnize there styles from the first auditons. And I believed the team with Dario and the other girl were solpy however. There were much wose overall dancers and I would like to see this group go very far in the competion because of there raw talent.

I thought the the boy who went home should have gone home because if he's been in the bottom 2 for both episodes he is just not good enough it that same thing as robert morhown ( last years crazy popper i don't think thats his last name ) A crazy dancer but just not right for so you think you can dance he was not very good at doing things out of his out own style of dance
and i would like to say this about chooiedippz's comment that style of dance is not really meant for solo's so their is not really much that can be done I find all that style's solo's to look the same
oh man nico's dance was awesome. i really think he might win the whole thing in the end i meen like have you seen any one that good honestly your gonna see.
